Krengel entrepreneurial family establishes non-profit, company-related WEPA Stiftung


The newly established "WEPA Stiftung", headquartered in Arnsberg, is aimed at promoting non-profit initiatives regarding the topics of hygiene, ecological and social sustainability, life-long learning and family entrepreneurship long-term. The foundation was established by the Krengel entrepreneurial family to make a long-term social contributionregarding these topics beyond the activities of the family company.

On Friday, 12 February, District President Hans-Josef Vogel presented the deed of foundation to the board of the "WEPA Stiftung", namely Andreas Krengel and Ingmar Lohmann. The members of the board of trustees, the members of the Krengel entrepreneurial family as well as the board of the WEPA Group also attended digitally.

“The WEPA Group is a future-oriented family business with a clear purpose: ‘Together for a better life’. Through the non-profit, company-related "WEPA Stiftung", we reinforce what defines the Krengel entrepreneurial family and WEPA as a family business and drives us in our daily activities: Taking responsibility and shaping the future together,” explained Andreas Krengel, also a member of the Management Board of the WEPA Group and spokesperson for the entrepreneurial family. 


“I would like to congratulate the Krengel entrepreneurial family on establishing the “WEPA Stiftung” foundation. I am delighted to see that the foundation’s mission is oriented towards future topics as important as public health care, ecological and social responsibility and education. The foundation will support pioneering solutions and exemplary initiatives and thus promote the public good,” stated District President Hans-Josef Vogel.
