The World Health Organisation (WHO) was founded in 1948. The global World Health Day on 7 April reminds us of this event - and of the high value that health has for all of us.

The best possible health for all people so that they can lead socially and economically productive lives: This is the official goal of the World Health Organisation in Geneva. There is still a lot to be done on the way to achieving that goal. 

It is therefore no coincidence that this year's motto for 7 April focuses on health equity: It is "Building a fairer, healthier world". 

And it is also an indication that during the pandemic, inequalities in the world are becoming more apparent and more acute.
With our purpose "Together for a better life", we are also contributing to this global cause. Because we know that hygiene is indispensable for people's health.
