Behind the tissue: Alasdair Sharp

UK-Account Manager WEPA Professional

The culture at WEPA is really supportive and positive - I already feel like I’m truly part of the team. There’s a great mix of colleagues here, too: apprentices just starting out, to people who have loads of experience under their belt. It’s a really great place to work.

I’ll be heading up the launch of our Satino brand to the UK market - a big milestone for the UK branch of the business. We have loads of exciting plans coming up in 2020 and beyond. It's great to be a part of. We're looking forward to growing the team in the next year or so, and positioning WEPA as the innovative, leading household brand it is recognised as in Europe.

In my spare time, I coach local rugby teams. The strategy and team element of the game really drives me and it is something I bring into my approach to work. I used to play rugby, but unfortunately sustained an injury which has prevented my participation for the past couple of years. Recently, one of my teams won its first trophy in 10 years. I was so proud to see all of our hard work and determination pay off!
