I have always had the ambition to achieve qualified status in my career in Finance and, with WEPA, I found a supportive employer who was willing to provide me with this opportunity. I sat my first finance exam back in 2017 and I’ve now completed and passed them all.

The support from the company while I was studying towards completion of my Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification, meant I was able to focus on what’s important outside of work: a good work-life balance is essential, spending time with my kids, pushing myself through triathlon training and a finding time for one of my passions, music and fronting a band.

At the moment, we're only playing pubs and clubs in South Wales, but who knows where we’ll end up!

I am constantly working on performing like Freddie Mercury, it is very different from the day job but it is great I am able to pursue my passions outside of work.
