The expansion of our site in Bridgend, UK, features extensive investments in production capacity. At the centre of everything is the construction of a new paper machine, which will allow us to produce another 65,000 tons of toilet paper and kitchen towels for the British consumer market.

As part of the overall investment, we will create more than 50 new jobs for people on site, in addition to the 270-plus people already employed by us in Bridgend.
We are happy to report that work is now in full swing and that our Andrew Scott Ltd construction team based in South Wales is driving this ambitious project forward.

The first trucks have arrived at the plant to deliver finished concrete parts such as columns, main beams and other building components – some of them up to 25 m long. Ultimately, more than 600 individual finished parts produced by the German company Monnerjahn were delivered to the site with 45 trucks. This is a key phase for the entire construction project – we would like to thank everyone involved in this impressive feat.
