Since its inception in 1948, the WEPA Group has been a family-owned business with a focus on sustainability.
Sustainability is firmly rooted in our corporate culture and is an integral part of our corporate strategy. Our holistic approach balances economic, ecological and social aspects.

To preserve and, if possible, improve our quality of life, this triad includes the sensible and efficient use of raw materials and capital, know-how and experience, machines and processes. As a family business, we take responsibility for our future and that of the generations to come.

In the context of our sustainability management, we fulfil our responsibility in the area of conflict that arises from being a commercial enterprise with regional roots and simultaneously operating throughout Europe. Environment

Sustainable raw materials

For the production of hygiene paper, we use only fair fibre. By this we mean recycled paper and certified pulps from sustainable forestry. In our Hybrid Fair Fibre product, we refine the specific properties of both raw materials into high-quality hygiene paper.

Environmental standards

Our hygiene paper meets the highest environmental standards. Depending on customer requirements, the products are labelled with the recognised labels. We hold the relevant FSC® (FSC-C007254).

Energy efficiency measures

As part of our energy efficiency program, we are finding ways to continuously reduce our energy requirements.

Supplier standards & audits

WEPA also expects a high degree of ecological responsibility from its suppliers. That is why we set standards, ensure that they are observed and review these commitments with regular audits.

Dialogue with environmental initiatives

The WEPA Group maintains a continuous exchange of ideas with various environmental initiatives. It is our concern to make ecological improvements together based on economic feasibility.
